These classic sterling silver Mexican filigree earrings are a fabulous example of filigree work from the Yucatan region of Mexico. Carlos Ramos is the artist who created the filigree. Sr. Ramos has created filigree pieces for Pope John Paul, the cardinals of Mexico, the crown prince of Japan, President Bush and Princess Caroline of Monaco. His father was featured in the book, "Great Masters of Mexican Folk Art". Sr. Ramos continues the tradition today of creating masterpieces in filigree.
