This striking modernist necklace was originally designed by Antonio Pineda of Taxco. Antonio Pineda and Sigi Pineda were considered the founding fathers of modernist jewelry design during the golden age of Taxco jewelry production. This vintage necklace was constructed with full attention to detail and quality.

Necklace has a wearable length of 16 1/2 inches and is 1 1/8 inches wide at the front and 1/2 inch wide at the back clasp. Weight is a substantial 5.0 ounces. Markings are "TB-36 Mexico Sterling 925". The necklace is composed of sterling silver and has a tongue in box clasp.
