Margot de Taxco was known for her feminine designs, and these earrings are a stellar example. The flowing lines are reminiscent of Victorian repousse. The earrings were made from original molds and are true to the quality and finish detail seen in vintage Margot jewelry. Details:
Earrings are 1 3/4 inches long and 3/4 inches wide. Weight for the pair is 0.5 ounces. Markings are "Melesio Villarreal 950 Sterling Taxco Mexico 5270". The earrings are pierced with a post back. The earrings have been recreated under the supervision of Melesio Villarreal who was the factory foreman for Margot Van Voorhies Carr for 24 years using the original molds. The quality & finish work are fabulous.
