These fabulous chunky earrings were originally designed by Ana Brilanti for the Taller Victoria de Taxco. The distinctive styling is very representative of old Taxco jewelry.The earrings predates the Eagle marking system which went into effect in 1948 and is not marked with a Taller or silversmith's mark. It was common for artisans who worked in the tallers to make the same designs and sell them independently.

Earrings are 5/8 inches high and 3/8 inches wide. Weight is 0.4 ounces for the pair. Markings are "Mexico Silver". The earrings pre-date 1948 when the eagle marking system went into effect. Content of the earrings is sterling silver or higher. The earrings have the original screwbacks. The earrings are in excellent vintage condition with no known problems.
