The versatility of this piece is fabulous. I have displayed it on a silver neckwire, but let your imagination go and place it on a black ribbon or a velvet cord, or simply wear it as a pin. Matilde Poulat frequently made her pins with adaptors so that they could be worn in multiple ways. This piece has the original "Matl" markings and as such will continue to appreciate in value. Ricardo Salas, her nephew, ran the company until about 3 months ago when he passed away. The pieces are iconic to collectors of fine vintage Mexican jewelry and will continue to appreciate in value.

Cross Pin / Pendant is 2 ½ inches long and 2 ½ inches wide. Weight is 1.2 ounces. Markings are "Matl M.Regis 14-2093 Mexico 925 MS-12". Stones are original to piece. Original patina intact. Amethyst does not have broken tip. Back has both a pin and bale to be used as a pendant. Bale will accommodate at least 1/8 inch neckwire. The neckwire in the pictures is for display only and does not come with the pin.
