Hector Aguilar of Taxco Reproduction Sterling Silver Knot Clip Earrings

Hector Aguilar reproduction sterling silver earrings with knot pattern are rarely seen. These classic earrings were created by Sr. Jose Luis Flores who was a master silversmith for Hector Aguilar at the Taller Borda in Taxco for many years. Sr. Luis is one of two surviving silversmiths actively producing jewelry from Hector Aguilar's taller. Sr. Luis is currently in his 80's. These earrings are featured in the book "Silver Masters of Mexico" by Penny Morrill on page 98. 
 
Details:
Earrings are 7/8 inches long &  6/8 inches wide. Weight for the pair is 0.6 ounces. Markings are "JLF Taxco 925 Mexico". Earrings are composed of sterling silver and have clip backs.
