These bold and chunky vintage Taxco earrings are sure to draw attention. They were originally created during the 1980's by Maria Ortiz Moreno. The tradtion of combining sterling silver and other metals in Taxco jewelry may be traced back to the studios of "Los Castillo" and "Victoria de Taxco" druing the golden age of jewelry production from the 1930's through the 1960's.

Earrings are 1 1/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches high. Weight for the pair is 0.8 ounces. Markings are "TO-77 Mexico 925". The earrings are composed of sterling silver and brass with clip backs. They are vintage and most likely from the late 1980's.
