This beautiful vintage Margot de Taxco collar necklace and earrings would flatter a petite or small frame woman. Margot van Voorhies Carr was the designer for all jewelry created in the Margot de Taxco studio. The swirling, curving motifs were frequently incorporated into her designs and are very feminine.

Necklace has a wearable length of approximately 15 inches. Necklace weight is 2.2 ounces. Markings are "Margot de Taxco 5338" and "Sterling Made in Mexico Eagle 16". The necklace is composed of sterling silver with a spring hinge at the back. The necklace may be worn partially open. The collar necklace was most likely produced during the 1950's due to the design number of 5338.
Earrings are 1 3/8 inches high and slightly over 1/2 inches wide. Weight for the pair is 0.5 ounces. Markings are "Sterling Made in Mexico Eagle 16" and "Margot de Taxco 5337". The earrings are composed of sterling silver and have the original screwbacks. The earrings may be viewed in #5 and #6.
