Long ago in a land far away... - imagine the stories that could accompany this vintage silver bracelet with Mexican motifs. This is a wonderful clamper bracelet that just might inspire your next Mexican adventure. This bracelet was made by Manuel Pedro Ortiz who was a silversmith for William Spratling for many years.
Details:
Bracelet is 6 ½ inches long when closed but could be worn open to accommodate a larger wrist. The width of the bracelet in front at its widest is 4 3/8 inches and 1 ¼ inches wide in the back. Weight is 2.1 ounces. Markings are "MPO 925 Sterling Taxco Mexico". Condition is good. On rim of bracelet there are some flattened areas, but it appears to be part of the original design and not damage. Original patina is intact. Spring is good and tight. Picture #8 does not show mark very well because of the location of the mark.
